Paige Umbach, MA, LCMHCA, NCC is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina and a National Certified Counselor. She earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University.
Paige is passionate about providing supportive and thoughtful counseling services that empower individuals to make meaningful progress towards their goals. She believes it is an honor to partner with clients as they embrace their strengths and move towards healing, growth, and holistic wellbeing. Paige strives to create an environment of warmth and compassion where clients can feel safe to be fully themselves.
She enjoys working with adolescents and adult clients navigating a variety of concerns such as trauma, anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, OCD, women’s issues, self-esteem, and depression.
Paige’s counseling approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. She tailors her approach to each client’s needs, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Paige is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based method to treat trauma and other distressing experiences.
In her free time, Paige enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going for walks, baking, and exploring new coffee shops.
