Before your visit

When you call or email for an appointment, our receptionists will schedule you as soon as possible with your counselor. Sometimes there may be a delay before your first appointment.

We strongly recommend you schedule several appointments because there is often limited availability, and it is frustrating once you begin counseling to experience delays.

After speaking with our front desk team, they will send you an invitation to the portal. Once you accept the invitation by clicking the link, you will be able to create a login and access the forms and information you can then submit online. Contact the front desk if you have special needs regarding this process.

The paperwork will need to be completed no later than 8 AM the day of your initial appointment.

If we are submitting insurance, you will receive an email requesting a copy of your card. At the time of scheduling, our office staff will get your credit card information to have on file.

If you are using insurance, please contact your insurance provider to get information on copays and deductibles prior to your first appointment.

When you arrive

The front desk team will greet you upon your arrival to answer any questions and check you in.

Our receptionists are available Monday through Friday, 10a-3p. Therapy appointments may begin as early as 8AM or as late as 8PM, so If your appointment is outside of the reception hours, please have a seat in our waiting area and your counselor will be with you shortly.

On the day of your appointment, you can pay with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and debit cards. You have the option to use your HSA card as well.

Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express.

During the session

After greeting you in the waiting area, your counselor will accompany you to his or her office. The focus of the first session will be what brought you into counseling, a history of that issue, and a general history of you.

During that session, you may also speak with your counselor about setting goals for your counseling. He or she can answer any questions you have about the counseling process.

After the session, you can log in to your portal to request future sessions or contact our front office for scheduling.

If it has been a few months since your last appointment, your client portal access may become inactive. Please understand this has nothing to do with your status as a client, and we welcome you to schedule another appointment. Rather, this is a function of our client portal system. Please contact the front desk at 704-752-8414 or email, and they can quickly reactivate your portal account.
