Samantha Dunaway, MACC, LCMHC is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor.
Samantha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wake Forest University and her Masters of Arts in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
She specializes in providing therapy for children ages 3+, adolescents, adults, and parent-child dyads.
She has experience working alongside clients with concerns such as attachment issues, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, spirituality, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, and behavioral difficulties.
She takes into account family background, attachment history, faulty thinking and unhealthy behavioral and relational patterns to create a holistic understanding of the individual. Samantha has an integrative approach utilizing a blend of evidenced based practices such as Person-Centered, Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral, Experiential and Play therapy modalities to address client needs.
She is passionate about providing a safe (and fun!) space for children and teens to explore and move towards growth, connection, and wellness. For Samantha, the therapeutic process provides a place for clients to find support, empowerment, and holistic healing.
