Carly Burrows, LCMHCA, NCC
Carly is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a Nationally Certified Counselor who specializes in working with children ages 5 and older, as well as adult women. Carly received a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Science, and a Masters Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Messiah University (formerly Messiah College).
Carly has worked in multiple settings including schools, private homes, and private practice. In addition, Carly has also worked in locations such as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, the Bahamas, and finally Charlotte.
Carly enjoys working with children and has experience counseling young girls through sexual trauma and assault. She also works with children who are experiencing loss and grief, as well as assisting parents in providing a supportive home environment. Carly also works with adult women who are living with depression or anxiety, as well as a range of postpartum issues.
Carly uses many Cognitive-Behavioral strategies in therapy as well as current play therapy techniques. She also incorporates Solution Focused theories, with a strong belief that every client can be successful in their goals.
