Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor with a passion for helping adults navigate life’s challenges.
She works with individuals who are going through major life transitions, experiencing high stress or crisis, or struggling with depression, anxiety, conflict, or women’s issues. Amanda also has extensive experience supporting clients facing addictions—whether substance-related or process addictions.
Her counseling style is person-centered and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), always approached with warmth, empathy, and compassion. Amanda creates a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to grow. She also integrates Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and other evidence-based techniques to help individuals work through trauma, painful memories, and distressing emotions so they can move toward healing and resilience.
Outside of her work, Amanda has been married for over 30 years and cherishes time with her three adult children and two grandchildren. She understands the complexities of balancing personal, family, and professional life—and brings that perspective into her counseling relationships.She specializes in helping adults who struggle with difficult life transitions, high stress/crisis, conflict, depression, anxiety as well as women's issues.
