Thomas Floyd, MA, is the newest member of our clinical staff! He is a licensed professional counselor and specializes in work with couples, families and individual adults. He was originally from Santiago, Chile and is able to provide counseling services in Spanish. His expertise is in pre-marital, couples and family counseling. Additionally he is skilled working with conflict, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and spiritual development.
We are pleased to welcome our newest clinician, Rachel Milbourn, MSW, LCSWA. She is a licensed social worker associate and specializes in childhood mental health including trauma, behavioral and mood disorders, ADHD and autism. She has over 20 years of experience working with children ages 7 + and families. She also works with women who have experienced trauma and are going through life transitions.
We are thrilled to add two new clinicians! Megan Baron, MACC and Anna Seiple, MACC are both graduates of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with Master's degrees in Christian Counseling.
Megan works with teens, adults and children. Megan has experience working with children 5+, using Play Therapy to meet their unique therapy needs. She offers an empathetic and fun space for children to understand and express their emotions. Her experience includes working with women ages 13+ facing concerns with relational and family issues, anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions and self-esteem.
Anna enjoys working with children (6+), adolescents, and adults who are journeying through various emotional and behavioral struggles. She also loves working with couples at any stage in their relationship, able to provide both pre-marital and marital counseling. She is a certified Prepare-Enrich facilitator and also enjoys utilizing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples.
Rhoda Keefer, PGCE, MA, LPCA has joined our group! Rhoda has an MA in professional counseling from Liberty University and a post graduate certificate in education from Cambridge University, England. She has served with Overseas Missionary Fellowship and Wycliffe Bible Translators. She provided counseling for Christian workers and their families who were serving throughout Asia. She works with children, teens, adults and families. She specializes in anxiety, depression, relationships, self-harm, grief and loss. She loves to help children using play therapy.
Welcome Bryan Franklin, MACC, LPCA. Bryan is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate who works with adult individuals, families, couples and teenage boys ages 12+. With more than 20 years in the corporate world, Bryan is distinctively qualified to work with executives as well as couples, blended families and parents.
Carolinas Counseling Group welcomes Barbara Givens, MA, LMFT, MHDL. Barbara is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and specializes in working with couples seeking engagement counseling, marriage enrichment, and affair recovery. Barbara has training and experience through her first master's degree in Human Development and Learning in helping individuals navigate challenges related to life stage changes and exploration of identity development through life transitions. works with children ages 18 months and up and is a Registered Play Therapist. She specializes in childhood and adolescent disorders including ADHD, Autism Spectrum (Aspergers) Disorder, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and sexual abuse and trauma.
